About the Role
Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Teacher’s Aide to assist our dedicated teaching team. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with children, is passionate about pursuing a career in early childhood education and is eager to contribute to a multicultural learning environment. Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and engage with children during activities, playtime, and transitions.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
• Assist teachers during transitions to get children ready for meals, activities, nap, etc.
• Support the creation of a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that celebrates diversity.
• Participate in school events and activities, promoting a sense of community.
• Utilize digital tools and educational software to enhance learning experiences and administrative efficiency.
• Assist with administrative tasks and classroom organization.
• Additional duties & responsibilities as requested
Requirements
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Coursework in Early Childhood Education or Child Development a plus; Teacher’s Aides will be required to complete at least 2 semester units in an educational program upon initial employment and continue each semester until 6 semester units completed
Previous experience working with young children in a preschool or similar setting.
Fluency in both Russian and English preferred; applicants demonstrating English fluency and proficiency in conversational Russian will be considered.
Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
A genuine passion for early childhood education and bilingual learning.
Patience, creativity, and a collaborative spirit.
Additional Information:
Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. In compliance with the law, prior to beginning work and as a condition of employment, all employees must provide documentation to prove eligibility to work in the United States.
Final candidates will need to pass Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation criminal background clearances, complete a physical exam, and provide a recent copy of a negative TB test and other immunization records.
